I’ve got a bit of spare time on my hands at the moment (thank you Covid-19). I thought I will finally get around to doing some streaming and creating some Youtube videos for fun.

We recently adopted a rescue cat called Mowgli. He’s a bit scared of noises, but he’s a very friendly boy. Our other cat Ruby is slowly (very slowly) warming to the idea of having another cat in the house.
Time to benchmark my new Intel I7-9700K.
Cinebench is a free app that will use each core individually to render an image. Essentially the quicker it completes, the higher the score. The more cores you have and the faster the clock speed of each core, the better the results.

This is not my work, but it’s very much appreciated. I’m just storing it on my site as I was sent it, but not idea where it came from originally.
Yesterday I got a parcel delivered to work. I eagerly opened the package expecting to find my new smartwatch but all that was in there was the screen protectors for it! I checked my order, yep it was definitely supposed to be in that delivery.
I called Amazon who were very helpful and are sending a replacement. After inspecting the box more closely, I found that the bottom of the box has clear tape over the black Amazon tape. It had been opened from the bottom and then taped back over! Bastard! I wonder where this happened, was it at the warehouse, or the delivery driver..?
Two legendary’s and an epic. I’m not normally lucky!
I’ve been playing for around probably around 5-6 weeks. It’s a damn good game actually, and it’s free. I’ve put a little bit of money into it, but no more than I’d have expected to pay for a game like this. It’s got me a load of characters and I’m happy with it.
For anyone who wants to see the best game I’ve ever seen, then watch the video below. I watched it live on twitch and it was really exciting. One team (GenG) leading up to this series of matches hadn’t lost a single game all competition until they met Dignitas in the finals. I never expected an e-sport game to get catch my attention like this! I love Dignitas, but the team I truly support are Method.
So…Â I’ve not posted anything in a while, so I thought I’d do a quick update.
I went racing at Datona go karting track with Yvonne, it was our anniversary and we decided to do something different. Everything was going OK, but I span out on one lap and from then on it seemed harder to control. I ended up crashing pretty hard into the tyre wall and instead of bouncing into it, I ended up going through and under it.. I fractured my knuckle and damaged some ribs. Luckily though I captured it all on my Go-Pro 😀 You can watch it here.
Sadly our Chameleon Claude passed away on the 23rd of June. He had a bone infection and was in pain, we took him to the vets to get antibiotics and pain relief, but a few hours later he was unable to even stand. Seems like it was a bad reaction to the injections. We took him to the vets the next morning and had to make the tough choice. He’ll be missed, he was a character and very pretty.

I had a blast flying around Stewartby. I went up to Houghton House and then on to the brickworks.
My Grandad was an inventor, and one of his best inventions (if he’d marketed it, and got the patent in a reasonable time) was a spherical version of the Rubik’s cube. He invented it and applied for his patent two years before Rubik! The game itself was not the same, but the principle behind moving parts was essentially the same thing.
